A perfect Friday. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better way to end the week. Will add more tomorrow but will just say THANK GOD FOR SABRA HUMMUS.
Sneak edit a few days later - This puzzle was really fun for me. Was it a bit easy for a Friday? Maybe. But did I finish a Friday with a perfect fill? I DID.
This was definitely a 'review the clues until you find an answer you know' kinda start. GMAT, REX, COUTURE. WARMFUZZIES eventually came, and then OILUP, RAMONE and some semblance of momentum started out of the SW corner. But man that NE corner eluded me for a while. There were many squares to have an error that I totally would have been okay with - really anything in BARSINISTER or SIBELIUS or CIVETS. CORGI took me AGES, but finally all I was left with was the S in SABRA. I went through every letter in the alphabet, and when none clicked I thought, 'you know maybe that hummus company is actually named after something.' I've never been happier to hear that annoying 'doo-do-doo-do-doo-do-do!' jingle.
